A leather notebook cover workshop
When I saw this leather notebook cover workshop advertised, I knew immediately I wanted to sign up.

Most of you know my love for everything stationery, but I have never worked with leather before. What a great opportunity to do so. We cut, hand-stitched and personalised natural leather in the colour of our choice. It looks easy, but it’s not. There are many steps and I loved all of it. the size was A6, the same size as Mapology Guides.

One of my favourite parts was the monogram embossing we did right at the end.

Pinar, our teacher, has been a footwear designer for over 20 years and a design educator for more than a decade. Last year, she opened @myyazcom a space where creativity is shared, explored, and made together.

She runs workshops (can’t wait to go to another one - I fancy the sneakers painting), teaches, designs footwear, handbags and accessories and consults for footwear brands.
Myyaz Studio is a delight, Pinar is a delight, generous and so helpful. What a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, MAKING. Thank you, Pinar.
