SHIPPING
Orders will be dispatched within 24-48 hours by Royal Mail.
SHIPPING WITHIN THE UK - we send all UK orders via Royal Mail. All orders benefit from FREE UK postage.
Please note that the following shipping times are for guidance only. Since Brexit and the pandemic, shipping has taken longer in certain countries.
SHIPPING TO THE US - in mid 2025 import tariffs have been implemented on ALL shipments from overseas. The UK was hit with 10% tariffs. We are covering these charges from our side (gifted to you). We use DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) by Royal Mail to send to the USA and the tariffs of 10% plus handling charges are INCLUDED in your shipping charge at checkout. It is all taken care of in advance. FYI, we collect the tariff as part of your shipping charge, pay it to Royal Mail who then pass it to the US Government. Our parcels go straight through customs at the US border and straight to you. There are NO extra charges for you.
SHIPPING TO EUROPE - If you are in the EU you will not receive any additional charges on shipments valued at 150 euro or under. We send all orders with Standard Service Royal Mail (5-11 working days).
We have decided to ONLY offer Tracked & Signed to Greece as packages arrive very delayed.
SHIPPING TO THE REST OF THE WORLD - we send all orders with Standard Service Royal Mail (10-14 working days). Orders sent internationally may be subject to import duties and tax depending on the country of destination and the value of the order. All parcels are sent with the relevant paperwork needed to clear customs. The recipient is responsible for any customs, duties or other fees that may be incurred importing goods.
We do not make profit from our P&P, all prices are based on current Royal Mail guidelines. Charges are calculated automatically when you check out. As the products are very lightweight, postage is anywhere between 5-10% of the cost of the products. If you have any questions about shipping then please ask and we can help.
Please note there is no tracking information for the packages we send out, except when anyone purchases a box with all 15 maps. We sent those tracking and will send you a tracking number.
If you require Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, or standard UK signed for, please request this by sending an email.
If your item doesn’t arrive in the estimated time we urge you to check with neighbours We have found that missing orders are frequently just misplaced at the recipient’s end. 99% of all orders arrive at their destination.
IMPORTANT: The recipient is responsible for local VAT and any customs, duties or other fees that may be incurred importing goods before the package will be released. Please make sure you factor this in when placing an order. We do not offer returns or refunds if a package returns to us because VAT and duties were not paid.
Mapology Guides Limited is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages.
RETURNS
We have tried to give very detailed descriptions and visual references. Due to the printed maps' nature and price, Mapology Guides does not accept returns. If you have any doubts before purchasing, do drop us a line.
