Anya Hindmarch X Women's Institute
I've been a long-term fan of Anya Hindmarch. It's one of few British brands that understands concepts, playfulness and the art of creative longevity.
I'll never forget the incredible Anya Hindmarch service station pop up in Selfridges in 2015.
But since AH fulfilled her long held dream of launching Anya Village, the creativity and genius has sky rocketed. Amongst different concept stores and an Anya cafe, there's also a monthly concept being realised.
This month they have partnered with the Women's Institute to bring It takes A Village to Pont Street. Until 26th March you can visit the store and experience a selection of beautiful and useful curated products, all celebrating women and craft. It's the first time the village has lend its voice to an external organisation with donating funds to the aims and objectives of the Women's Institute.
'The WI is the original social network since 1915 and has been a voice of soft power in the UK, supporting numerous important causes close to our hearts – from tackling single use plastic to championing British craft’ Anya Hindmarch
Coinciding with London Fashion Week, many of the shops facades have been entirely knitted and patchworked in bold colours.
A lot of the products are hand-made, in small batches and can also be ordered.
See their website for workshops and further information.
