A workshop with Helen Dardik in Amsterdam

At the end of July I spent a long weekend in Amsterdam. I had booked on to a 2-day workshop with Helen Dardik after following her on Instagram and being enchanted by her whimsical, colourful and toomuchery paintings.

I cannot quiet express how amazing the workshop was. From meeting the fearless Helen, to a group of wonderful women who had travelled from the US and Europe at large - all warm, kind and supportive to each other. 

It was like food for the soul and I'm so grateful I made the trip.

Watching Helen paint was like meditative therapy. We learned so much about the process, the material she uses and I kind of wished we were on a week's retreat together. It was hard to say goodbye, but I know some of us will stay in touch and support each other while we put into practice what we learned.
